Whaling Station Restaurant

The Whaling Station, one of Cannery Row's signature restaurants, occupies an enlarged structure that began as a Chinese grocery and dry-goods store in the 1920's. The building's sensitive expansion retained its harmony with the original structure which served as a general store and boarding house.
